How many times have you viewed documents or photos on your iPad and wished you could print those wirelessly<\/strong> without firing up your laptop or desktop.<\/p>\n

There are several ways to print from your iPad. Here are some methods and apps to try, depending on the printer model you own:<\/p>\n

1. AirPrint Compatible Printers\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/strong>The easiest solution is to invest in a wireless printer that supports AirPrint<\/strong> technology. The AirPrint feature built into your iPad lets you wirelessly print to any AirPrint compatible printer. It is hassle-free, considering that you don\u2019t need to download any software or install any printer drivers. Just make sure that your iPad has an updated iOS. Here\u2019s a complete list of AirPrint-enabled printers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The initial implementation of AirPrint also works with a handful of newer HP<\/strong> printers that support something HP calls ePrint<\/strong>. If you happen to have such a printer (HP<\/strong> has a list of them<\/a> on its Website), and it\u2019s on the same local network as the iPad, your iPad will be able to see it and print without any special configuration. (ePrint also gives your printer a private e-mail address, so you can also e-mail a document as an attachment, and it’ll print automatically.)<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0Printer Apps for the iPad
\n<\/strong>If you do not own an AirPrint-enabled printer, there are alternative printing methods available. Several printer manufacturers have come out with iOS apps to help you print directly from your iPad to their portfolio of wireless printers , regardless of whether your printer is compatible with AirPrint or not. Here are some available apps:<\/p>\n

A. HP ePrint<\/strong> Home & Biz<\/strong> App<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nDownload the free HP ePrint Home & Biz<\/strong> app on your iPad to print documents, PDFs, photos, web pages, and email attachments. The app works with over 200 HP printer models<\/strong>.\u00a0 Using the app, you will be able to connect directly to an HP printer available on a local wireless network and initiate the print job.<\/p>\n

Another option is to look into buying one of HP\u2019s printers with ePrint<\/strong> like HP Officejet 6100 e-Printer Wireless Color Printer<\/a>. With an HP ePrint enabled printer<\/strong>, you can simply email the document or photo you want to print from your iPad to the printer\u2019s email address and the file will automatically print. You could also use your iPad\u2019s AirPrint feature.<\/p>\n

HP Printer Control<\/a><\/strong> is also available for compatible all-in-one printers. This will also enable scanning and copying functionality from your iPad or iPhone. There is a guide and list of printers it is compatible with on their HP Printer Control<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

HP Printer Control<\/strong> is a free<\/strong> downloadable app available in iTunes App Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n

B. Epson iPrint<\/strong> App<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nThe Epson iPrint<\/strong> app is a free downloadable app that lets you connect directly from your iPad to an Epson printer within your wireless network. Besides, documents, photos, PDFs and more, the app also supports printing files from cloud-based storage services such as DropBox<\/strong> and Evernote<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>There are also some third-party<\/strong> paid apps that support wireless printing directly from the iPad.\u00a0 Try the Print n Share by EuroSmartz for iPad<\/a>. The Print n Share<\/strong> app is a versatile printing app that connects with both wireless printers and printers without wireless capability. To access a printer without Wi-Fi, you would need to install the WePrint helper application<\/a> on your PC\/Mac, which connects your iPad to the printer. The app also supports cloud storage.<\/p>\n

4. Printing Software
\n<\/strong>If you don\u2019t own a wireless printer, you could install a third-party software on your PC\/Mac that connects your iPad to the printers set up on your computer. Any files you want to print from your iPad are sent via your computer to your printer. The software also gives you the option to send files from your iPad to a Dropbox folder on your computer.
